Nicholas Cassarino was born in Vermont into a musical family. He started singing publicly at age 5 and at age 11 began playing guitar. Through the genres of punk rock, classic rock, and folk he began studying jazz. The doors of jazz opened him up to classical, gospel, soul, hip-hop, funk, and music from around the world.

In Vermont, he met Jennifer Hartswick, trumpet player/singer with Trey Anastasio, who would later introduce him to the likes of Nikki Glaspie, Christian McBride, and the entire jam/festival scene.

In 2008 Nick moved from Burlington VT to New York City. There he joined a 10 piece hip-hop collective called Lifted Crew and toured with rap icons, Slick Rick the Ruler and Big Daddy Kane. He also worked extensively at gospel churches in the city and began furthering his solo career.

In 2013 he formed his current touring outfit The Nth Power with Nikki Glaspie (Beyonce) and Nate Edgar (John Browns Body). They have been touring nationally and internationally since 2014 and have released an ep, full length studio album, live album, and will release a new studio album in 2020. Nick also continues to tour in a duo setting with Jennifer Hartswick.

Erin Boyd was born in Bricktown NJ, moving to Florida shortly there after. Her family sowed roots in Tampa which became her home. Erin turned to music at an early age showing a strong ability to convey stories and connect with her listeners.

She worked professionally with an all girls children group performing for the NCAA Finals, Democratic Convention with Bill Clinton, and The Grand Ole Opry. After studying at Boston Conservatory and Fordham University Erin began writing her own music and later formed her first solo project Phantom Vanity.

The Vintage Slacker EP brought together a mighty collection of tremendous talents. It is a celebration of friendships, some of which span over 18 years. Featuring: Dmitry Gorodetsky (Charlie Puth), Nigel Hall (Lettuce), Elenna Canlas (Sinkane, Big Everything), Rodney Flood (Kindo), Joel Fuentes (RYNO), Steven Padin and Joey Secchiaroli (Kindo), Rob Lewis (Christina Aguilera), Weedie Braimah (Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah), Bryan Morton (John Lindahl), Louis Cato (Lucius, Bobby Mcferrin), Corey Bernhard (Killiam Shakespeare, Snarky Puppy), Reuben Cainer (Big Yuki, Animus Rexx), Henry Ramon, James Casey (Meghan Trainor, Trey Anastasio Band, Animus Rexx), Matt Owens (Mean Girls Original Broadway Cast) and Nick Cassarino (The Nth Power, Jennifer Hartswick) who is also serves as a co-writer on most of the EP. Phantom Vanity has opened for Matador! Soul Sounds, and played Summer On The Hudson a NYC wide music festival.

Erin currently lives in Brooklyn, New York where she continues to plays with various artist. She recently can be heard singing background on the new David East album and Smirnoff 'Infamous Since 1864' syndicated commercial. She is an active member of the Resistance Revival Chorus and Sound Mind Collective, two incredible organizations focusing on activism through song.
