Show ticket prices are set by the artist. We use Stripe and PayPal as our payment gateways to collect ticket sales. Each service employs standard processing fees as shown below. This cost is covered by the purchaser, so the artist receives 100% of the set ticket price.
In addition to the credit card processing fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction), Aux Chord adds a 15% fee on top of the ticket price paid by the purchaser to cover the operating costs of the platform.
For example, if you price your show at $10 and sell 100 tickets, the fan will pay $12.10 [which is $10 + (2.9% + $0.30) + 15%] and the artist will take home $10 for every ticket sold: a total of $1,000 for 100 sales.
